the presents have been unwrapped and exchanged, the egg nog has run dry, and plans for new years debauchery & tomfoolery have been made. the only thing left to do in 05 is hop aboard the old 2006 beaver marquis (see comments on 'take a hike' 11/18/05) and head to south beach to bear witness to an old fashion ass whoopin' of bobby and his seminole nation. if we could not play for the title in the rose bowl, what better treat than a chance to put the dat gum, old bama hick in his place and demonstrate to all that joe is the only rightful, successor to the bear.

in what should be a tantalizing sneak peak at what is in store for 06, psu is going to have young talent all over the field on both sides of the ball, and a core of seniors that will undoubtedly go down in happy valley lore as architects of one of the finest seasons in psu history. mrob and co. should have little trouble moving the ball once they settle into the game and as a result, the defense should have a nice cushion to play with, allowing them to open things up and flatten weatherford like the cuban sandwiches I am planning to consume while down on the emerald coast. Lions jump out early and often and cruise to a very satisfying 38-14 victory.

go state...beat the bowdens!

There's something about Bowden that has always made me feel sick to my stomach. Maybe it's the fact that he speaks with a drawl that can only come by dropping out of 7th grade and going to work for your daddy at the "Jiff N Lube" before joining FSU as a waterboy, a-la Bobby Bouche'.

This is the guy that people compare to my beloved JoePa? For shame, all of you. I don't care how many wins he has, he is no JoePa.

Poz's heart burns with the fire of a thousand hot wings on Jan 3rd...and Hali will use his war-torn roots to tear the O-line apart.
I admit, the 1st quarter will be shaky, as these upperclassmen have never been to a bowl before, but in the end, they prevail... 38-17

Well as the holiday Season winds down – We should all appreciate the gifts we received throughout the year. Whether that be time spent with family or friends or that sexy Christmas Teddy that was slipped under your pillow after you had thought you had open all your presents. Or maybe it was the complete set of Friends on DVD. Finally a format that will be protected for life! Even when we look outside our own lives and family we can see the insurmountable underlying goodwill around the world. From the relieve efforts with the Tsunami or locally on the shores of Louisiana with the aid to the Katrina refuges. Americans were displaced and humanitarians around the world open their homes to provide shelter and food. Even in the sports arena we witnessed Tedy Bruschi make that 1st tackle after suffering a stroke that nearly took his life. So it shouldn’t surprise you that 2005 most incredible (depending on your perspective) gift of the year goes to the Florida State Seminoles and their bowl game match up against PSU. Merry Kwanza, Hanukah or Christmas from the ACC !

The Proud the never duplicated the one and only PSU - 38

Another Conference Criminal - 10
