thankfully the weekend is here and the sky has indeed not fallen upon happy valley, so nit fans can move on and leave the michigan game behind them and focus on ronnie zook's illini.
editors note: unfortunately, penn state will not be able to rid themselves of the worst officiating outfit in the land, the big ten refs, and therefore will have to work twice as hard to win the conference title.
the nits will eventually pull away and win comfortably, but look for the offense to struggle with exactly how they want to dismantle the fighting illini defense without dWheels. look for two 100 yard rushers, mRob and mousier hunt and a 35-14 nits victory. admittedly, 7-1 does not look as good as 8-0, but either way a victory moves psu one step closer to a conference title.
go state...beat the illini!

Tony Hunt. I salute you - 140 yds rushing on 18 carries will be a nice feat against the Illini. Too bad you get taken out in the middle of the 3rd, but A Scott needs some time to dance around back there.
PSU is too much for Zook's flyboyz. PSU 34- Ill 17.
Despite my ILL-INI roots, there is no way I can pick them to win this game, let alone keep it close.

4 Wet Dipes, 3 hours of sleep and all the kin-folk running around like ants. What's a man to do?
If only there was some magical liquid elixir to make everything just go away. I am still pissed about last week game...
10/22/05 - half a scone for breakfast, cup of day old coffee and one bad ass hangover from cheap margaritas. Just another Saturday morning...wait a minute "Robb's Blog" ! That's right, football is on today and it's a night game ! There is hope, life does go on.
