i know that the barrage of solicitors and mentions in any and all penn state media are a bit much, but when you get down to brass tacks...thon is pretty alright. $4.1 million was raised last year to offsets the cost of treatments that insurance does not cover, as well as other expenses that may disrupt the welfare of the child, such as car repairs, rent, or household utilities. the fund also supports the medical team that cares for the children and helps fund pediatric cancer research through start-up grants and the four diamonds pediatric cancer research institute.
