go erin...it's yer birthday

i have never really been a fan of stanford. their homogeneous perfection (see tiger woods and mike mussina) has always rubbed me the wrong way. that being said, they are mounting an offensive to win me over and it begins with this story. in short, their lame-ass mascot (a gd tree!) turns out to be not so lame after all, as it turns out she hypes the crowd at standford basketball games wasted (0.157, twice the legal limit in cali). what i would like to know is how the hell erin got caught hittin the sauce as she is concealed behind at least 80lbs of paper maché! she must have been moonwalkin' on center court mid-game or something. well, it looks like her days of dressing like a tree may be over, but apparently getting drunk and falling down does not prevent someone from being, ohh say...a stanford swimmer.
